Abstract

This article provides information on methods of sowing cotton seeds and the most optimal method among them is the method of sowing cotton seeds on beds obtained in the fall. Scientists conducting scientific research in the field of cotton have found the following: as a result of planting cotton seeds on ridges obtained in the fall, sprouts germinate 2-4 days earlier than when planted on level ground, and cotton yield increases by 15-20%,  temperature ridges prepared in autumn are 2-3 C higher, gross labor costs and fuel and lubricant costs are reduced by 40% when planting cotton seeds on a ridge.
